    PROVIDENCE R.I. On The occasion of Gallery Z's 12th anniversary join us by viewing our 121st and newest exhibition, "Estate Show: Living and Non-Living Artists Represented and Exhibited with Gallery Z in the Past". This exhibit runs from January 10th- March 9th 2013. Receptions will be held on Thursday, January 21st from 5- 7 PM, Thursday February 21st from 5-9 PM including a fashion show with Divas Palace from 6-9 PM and Thursday February 28th from 5-7 PM.

    For over a decade, Gallery Z has proudly celebrated and exhibited eclectic artwork from local, national and international artists working in a diversity of mediums. The gallery's impressive permanent collection represents over 160 artists from different countries around the world. The work spans a wide range of styles and mediums - including; sculpture, paintings, photography, collage, glass and mixed media pieces. In this exhibit, Gallery Z has selected 120 pieces of original art from 54 living and non-living artists who have exhibited with the gallery for over twelve years and have had association with gallery Z director for over 30 years.

    This large scale group exhibition is fashioned after a library style hanging, with emphasis put on detail, comfort and warmth. Included are many catalogs, historical archive materials, art books, publications and biographical materials relating to participating artists. In addition to a selection of antique furniture placed in a circle for your viewing comfort.

    In addition, traditionally, on the last Thursday of each month, the participating Public Art Window organization at Gallery Z hosts a fundraising event to elevate public awareness and consciousness for their cause. This month, on Thursday, January 31st, from 5-7 pm, (Gallery Z's Art, Food & Wine Creating Awareness for a Cause) Gallery Z will partner with the non-profit organization, "A Fare Share: Food with a mission". This event will feature cuisine provided by a local Providence Restaurants and world-class hand selected wine provided by I.M. Gan Discount Liquors located at 380 Warwick Ave. Warwick, Rhode Island
